There have only been 4 times in MLB history a player got on base for 63 or more straight games:
Ted Williams: 84 in 1949
Joe DiMaggio: 74 in 1941
Ted Williams: 73 in 1941-42and…
Orlando Cabrera: 63 in 2006
Cabrera was an underrated player, but not the name you would expect to be there after Williams and DiMaggio. But what really makes the whole thing strange is his numbers during his on base streak.

Cabrera would also walk just 27 times, getting hit by a pitch twice, reaching on error 3 times, and his .791 OPS would rank 95th in MLB that year. A pure anomaly that statistically makes no sense, but you have to give credit to cabrera for finding a way to get to 1st every day.
