We’re going to go way, way back, I’m not talking about 2004, we’re going back just a few years to the ancient times. Before you could just break into the gym for your yearly workout, you had to lift whatever nature gave you, and that’s what Ancient Greek athlete, Bybon, would do back in the 6th century BCE.
His notable feat that is still debated comes from him lifting a 315-pound (143 kg) stone found at Olympia, over his head with one hand. The only proof of this is what was inscribed on the rock:
"Bybon, son of Phola, lifted me over his head with one hand."
While it can't be confirmed that every detail of the inscription is true, along with if he used one or two hands, the stone itself is real and still sits in the Archaeological Museum of Olympia. Whether that inscription was real or was just ancient long term trolling is something will never know, but it’s more fun to believe he lifted an impressive bench press over his head with one hand.
Which is something I also did but no one was there to see it.

Random Stat Of The Day
Pete Rose is the all time hit king, and also the hit king of Wednesdays. He recorded 599 hits on Wednesdays over 599 games edging Ty Cobb by one who had 598 in just 430 games. And like the month of June, the top 4 in history in Rose, Cobb, Aaron, and Musial are the top 4 for hits on Wednesdays. These guys just love humpday.
